Is your income level better than it was a year ago and do you feel like you have as much money to spend on the holidays?

My income is more stable but at the same level. I don't feel like I have as much to spend because of higher prices.

If you get paid the same each year without any cost of living raise, then you are in effect getting paid much less than last year due to inflation. Your dollar is worth much less and will not buy as much goods as it did last year.

Income is about the same, but the price of food seems to rise daily leaving less for things like the holidays.

Income is higher, but my family and I agreed many years ago not to exchange gifts on holidays. We buy what we need as the need arises.

I quit my 17+ yrs job July 1st (I start getting retirement income come March 2012), we had NOT received an increase in over 4 years, with triple the work load and less hours to do the job. In other words, unbearable, Now you understand why I walked out of that mess..Cant say I regret it..It's been heaven !!
