For the first time I have leather seats in my car.
When the leather is cold is terrible. :(
I have heated seats but are not instant.
what do you think?

Leather with heated and cooled seats. I find it takes less than 60 seconds for the seats to heat up on cold days, and they toasty warm by the time I get to work.

Leather on both of mine.

Leather seats are generally easier to keep clean, although the cleaning and conditioning treatments can be time consumptive. And, cars with leather seats generally have a higher resale value.

Only thing I hate about cloth is the fact they stain. Still rather cloth over leather

I've had both, and prefer the cloth.

A high quality leather isn't bad, but, your right hank, very cold in the winter, and, if the leather is low quality, like a vinyl, in real heat, wearing shorts, your legs might stick to the material.

I've only owned one vehicle, a 1984 Mercury Grande Marquis, with leather seats. They were dyed a deep blue and I really maintained them with saddle soap and leather treatments. They were elegant and fitting for the car mentioned. As stated, the were easy to clean. The down side was they were hot in the summer, cold in the winter (no heater in them) and a constant worry that my Collie would put a hole in them. After ten years of ownership, the top of the rear seats was cracking from the sun coming into the rear window. I also owned several vehicles with vinyl seats, same issues except they weren't as elegant. The cloth seats have been a mixed bag depending on the vehicle. My Chevrolet HHR would spot even if you spilled water on them. Overall, they have been the most serviceable. You didn't mention one other combination vinyl/cloth. I had those in my Mother's 1964 Plymouth Belvedere for 15 years. They tore badly and I ordered taxi cab vinyl covers and recovered the seats.

I'll take cloth any day. I'm willing to put up with difficulty cleaning the occasional spill in order to keep from burning myself in the summer.
