We should be able to remove, edit, change, erase our posts to forums and chats. WHERE IS THE REMOVE BUTTON?

The awards from the phone app should carry over to the main site.

More privacy options to be able to lImit and control the content you share with others.

Im the forums, Why cant we search by topic rather than by author? Makes no sense. Its very tIme consuming to click and read over pages and pages of topics while trying to find the one your looking for.

Ive signed up for email alerts a few tImes and never yet received one? just a few ideas from me, I love this site and think they have done a great job with its development but still seems to have some "bugs" to work out. I also think it would be nice to know when your screen name is used in someone elses post. for example when people want to bash users in the pooper scooper rooms. thats not fair. there is another popular social networking site out there that has some of the features I listed above and the user experience is great, easy to navigate and sends notifications about everything. I find its difficult to navigate the never ending lists of forums to go back to a topic I was commenting on or conversation I was in. Sorry to complain.

Note that "Things to change on the website" is not a very informative topic title, since that's the charter of the entire forum category that you posted it to. It's better to give a short description of the actual change you're requesting.

You actually listed multiple items. It's OK to have multiple suggestions, but it makes things clearer if you post them as separate topics -- partly so that we can see the different subject lines on each one, and partly because we can then reply to them individually, without having to sift through the text in a single linear thread.

As for the search feature, see FAQ #33. There's a hack to search all GasBuddy sites at once, but I've had better luck using regular Google with the additional keyword intitle:"gas prices" to limit it to GasBuddy. See also Advanced Search Proposal for thoughts on an ideal super-searcher.

You can also remove any or all posts made to your own whiteboard. Just move your cursor to the right of the post.

You can not remove from a thread (only edit in 5 min.) or from their photos but you CAN remove from someones WB.

See now I'm editing my post. If you want to go back to a topic easily use the Add to favorite topics. Then you can go to your favorites & find it easily.

really? I have not noticed that yet. thanks you very much. I will look into it. I dont know about everyone else but I sometimes like to go back and take things down for a number of different reasons. spelling errors, change of opinion, misinformation to edit etc.

After you post, there is an "edit" to click on but after 5 minutes, it goes away.
