Not nearly the whole history, but this series of articles concentrates on the 1940s through mid-'60s from the perspective of a family business and all their dealings with the company, cars, customers and race drivers. If you have memories of any of this period it's fascinating reading about car evolution, company politics and general life in the postwar US.
