I find there is no indication of whether the fog lamps are on.
Auto-lamp sensor in a very bad position and it turns the lights on and off whenever you are in the shade.

09 & 10 model yr vibes are affected by Toyota recall as it is a Toyota veh wrapped in a Pontiac body. Newer ones loom way cooler only GT models though
