From Ford Motor Company:
"EcoBoost is a family of turbocharged, direct injected gasoline engines produced by the Ford Motor Company. Engines equipped with EcoBoost technology are designed to deliver power and torque consistent with larger displacement, naturally aspirated engines while achieving approximately 20% better fuel efficiency and 15% reduced greenhouse emissions than these same engines. Relative to the power output and fuel efficiency of hybrid and diesel technologies, Ford sees EcoBoost as an affordable and versatile alternative and intends on using it extensively in future vehicle applications."

I have a 2006 F250 supercab 6.0 with a 373 rear-end. I have 40k on it now and the mileage that I got from day one to today has remained the same. I get in the city between 14/16mpg (as long as I keep my foot out of it) and I get around 20 on the highway (keeping it under 2,000 rpm's and try to keep the boost under 10lbs). I tried a experiment going 75mph with cruise control and only got 17mpg on the highway. Now when I'm towing about 10,000 lbs, I try to keep it about 60mph and I get about 10/11 mpg.
I thing the manufactures need to work on getting better mileage, but for a almost 8klb vehicle, it go's pretty good

I have not heard any comments on the 6.7 since there are not many out there. I talked with several people with the 6.4 and they are not even making 10mpg. Nobody I have talked to is happy with the mileage of the 6.4.

The 6.7s are supposed to do AMAZING. Guy on powerstroke.org rode in one in testing. All kinds of computers hooked up with live data. Somewhere around 20 I think it was. They'll be even more amazing when people get a hold of them and strip the stupid emissions of them and custom tune em.

I just saw the new 2011 on the ford website (future trucks). It has Ford's own Powerstroke diesel engine, the 6.7l. It is supposed to be better and stronger then the 6.4 and also supposed to get way better mileage.
From everyone that I've talked to the 6.4 get's about 12 MPG until it breaks in and then it may get up to 18 MPG, but that is stretching it. I actually can do better with modification to the computer with my 1999 7.3l powerstroke, but I don't have those so I get about 15 MPG for the 4x4 crew cab with an 8' box (not a dually).
Hope this helps.

I think the fueleconomy.gov site may have information you are requesting, but not knowing the year, make, or model of this "truck" you are inquiring about, not sure.

I do not know. The new ones are hard on fuel from what I hear. I drive a Duramax and get 17 MPG on average. Granted my truck is not broke in yet and it will get better. I do not think the Fords do that well.

The guy just asked about fuel economy for this vehicle. I'm not sure that would be inappropriate in the fuel economy forum. It's a legitimate question.
